Key Idea: God’s gifts of individualized and contextualized graces to Trusters form them as one family of disciples who reflect him in mutuality, unity, and diversity.
God gives individualized and contextualized graces to all Trusters. These graces equip them with all the capacities needed for life together in Christ on God’s mission.
He forms Trusters into a community of disciples who teach others in the ways of the master Jesus and train one another to be faithful to him. As one community in Christ, Trusters know they are one Body organized around one head, Jesus. The community of disciples, the church, is centered on Christ. God’s Christ-centered community is characterized by a unity of beautiful differences and diversity of manifest grace. She is characterized by loving mutuality among Siblings who recognize the worst and importance of others in the context of relationship.
Individualism draws the soul away from a siblings-first horizontal love. The dailies distract us from shared mission. Tradition may turn our focus from God to mere ritual.
